Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Heartland Crawl, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this site.
Description of service
Heartland Crawl is a lead matching service operated by Fox Innovations. We connect homeowners in the Des Moines, Iowa area with licensed crawl space encapsulation contractors. We do not perform contractor work. We do not employ or directly control the contractors in our network.
When you submit a quote request, we share your contact information with contractors who may contact you to provide quotes for crawl space encapsulation services.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee:
- That any contractor will contact you or provide a quote
- The price, quality, or availability of any contractor's services
- That any contractor is properly licensed, insured, or qualified (you must verify this yourself)
- That any work performed by a contractor will meet your expectations or comply with building codes
- Continuous or uninterrupted access to this site
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information when submitting a quote request
- Verifying the credentials, licenses, and insurance of any contractor before hiring them
- Negotiating terms, pricing, and scope of work directly with contractors
- Ensuring any work performed on your property complies with local building codes and regulations
- Paying contractors directly for any services they provide (we are not involved in payment)
AI phone and chat services
This site may use artificial intelligence (AI) systems to respond to phone calls and chat messages. AI agents may answer your questions, collect information, and connect you with contractors. By using our phone or chat services, you consent to interacting with AI systems. All calls and chats may be recorded and transcribed. See our Call Recording & Consent page for details.
Contractor relationships
Contractors in our network are independent businesses. We do not employ them, supervise their work, or control how they operate. Any contract you enter into with a contractor is between you and that contractor. We are not a party to that contract.
If you have a dispute with a contractor, you must resolve it directly with that contractor. We are not responsible for disputes, claims, or damages arising from work performed by contractors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fox Innovations and Heartland Crawl are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use this site
- Any interaction with contractors you meet through this site
- Any work performed or not performed by contractors
- Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in information provided on this site
- Unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your information
This site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
